Misti Peruvian Jazz Project

The Misti Peruvian Jazz Project is a New Jersey/New York-based ensemble co-led by Peruvian musicians Sofía Carrasco (tenor saxophone) and Víctor Sotomayor (piano). Rooted in a deep respect for Peru’s rich musical traditions, their original compositions fuse modern jazz with Andean, Afro-Peruvian, and Creole sounds—resulting in music that is both soulful and rhythmically compelling.
